Vacationing the LILL Way

There’s no doubt about it, these girls love LILL and fabrics.
Our LILL HQ fabric manager, Adrienne (of the ADRIENNE bag), is also one of the many LILL on Location reps in the Chicago-land area. On her visit to San Francisco, she met up with Clea the San Diego LILL on Location rep who also works with Shannon at an interior design firm.

Together they traveled to wineries and explored all San Francisco had to offer. They share a love for LILL and fabrics (and wine!).

Throughout their travels they could be found with their favorite LILL Bags in tow.

"A trip to San Francisco was the perfect scene for us to use our Lill bags- the styles, patterns, and colors helped us fit right in with the funky, fashion forward scene! We took our bags wine tasting in Sonoma County. They were roomy enough to store our picnic lunches and some goodies to bring home from all the tasty wineries and, of course out and about in the city - where we got lots of compliments! Sex and the City followup

Okay girls - did you all see it? Did you love it? I know I did - it was so great to hang out with the SATC girls one more time! But of course, the best thing about seeing the movie was that it was a girls' night out spent with amazing girlfriends. We went to the movie, then to 1154 LILL to design bags for each other - each channeling our inner Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha. Could there be a better way to spend an evening?

Sex and The City

Hi all! Lilly S. is on vacation right now, so I’m taking over the blog for this week. And what do I want to talk about? Sex. Well, Sex And The City, actually.

Are you as excited as I am about the Sex And The City Movie? I’ve got my tickets for this weekend and can’t wait to spend time with “the girls” again! Have you seen the trailers? The colors, the fashion, the romance and just plain fabulousness of life for these 4 in the Big Apple make me giddy with excitement to see it.

However, more than anything, I love Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte because they remind me how important and precious good girlfriends are in a woman’s life. No matter what stage of life you are in – student, working girl, wife, mother, grandmother, etc. – good girlfriends are your touchstone, your sounding board, your confidants, your cohorts in crazy antics, and your mirror to help you see yourself a little better.

That is why I love being a part of LILL. I am so proud of my friend Jen for pursuing her dream and starting this company that not only creates handbags, but helps people create style statements, memories, friendships and careers. I feel so lucky to be a part of this dream of hers. I love our LILL family – everyone at our production headquarters, our store staff and our reps in the field – they are amazing and talented people. And I love that LILL provides an outlet for girlfriends to spend time together. Whether you are gathering your friends for a Handbag Party in your home, or bringing your out-of-town friends for a visit to your 1154 LILL boutique, a bag isn’t the only thing that is created at LILL. Memories are made, creativity is shared and laughter is spread.

And so, with Sex & The City premiering, I think it’s the perfect time to gather your best girlfriends at 1154 LILL and create some new bags, and some new memories at the same time. Have fun and be fabulous with your friends!

Celebrating a Special Day with LILL

At LILL we are fortunate to meet so many brides who choose to celebrate their upcoming wedding day with us. Whether they host a party for their bridesmaids to design their own LILL Bag as a gift or present their ‘maids with custom LILL Bags designed by them, LILL Brides always seem to manage to add a special touch to their day.

We continue to be amazed and inspired by the creations we see from LILL brides. More importantly, we love their stories.

"I saw an article a couple of years ago in Fitness magazine about designing your own personal gym bag. I thought the concept was so fun that I book marked the website on 'my favorites'. Last year while I was brainstorming for that perfect 'unique' bridesmaids gift I came across the LILL website again and found exactly what I was looking for. After researching more info I learned how there was a LILL rep in the Columbus area for handbag parties. I contacted her immediately and decided to have a party for all my bridesmaids. They all designed their own purses and I was able to give them their own unique creations at the rehearsal dinner. We had such a great time and now everyone has a special memento from my wedding!"
